I don't understand the reasoning behind Microsoft not figuring out something leading to the conclusion that this thing is complicated.
IAMAmathematician, but:
<ol>
<li>There are simple and complicated things in the world;</li>
<li>Microsoft never figured out anything.</li>
</ol>
Therefore (something being simple or complicated) and (Microsoft figuring something out) are orthogonal.
