whoops sorry ; ) just yesterday, I came upon a comment to http://climbtothestars.org/india/behind/ which also complained about the negative view I gave of India. What's wrong with everybody? Disclaimer (for Indian Tourism Dept.): I really really liked the place!

I'm confused. I don't see (read) anything that seems negative at all. Maybe its just me. Regarding your "visual" shock, I can relate to that. The same happened to me when I went to Turkey for a couple weeks. Everything you saw and touched was different. From the landscapes, to the food (tasty), to the cars. It felt like one discovery after another; I loved it. By the way, if your ever in Istanbul, you MUST see the underground cistern. Astounding stuff.
