I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Climb to the Stars’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

Wow, I'm alot older than I realized!! I attended CAS in 1966-67. I've been back to Lausanne several times over the years but never back to the school location. It was a great life for myself and two older sisters. When I tell friends that every Friday we all went skiing, they can't believe it. Teachers and faculty were very kind. Wonderful experience - where's that time machine...

That kind of behaviour at an event that I have paid to attend would make me feel like the organisers were solely interested in making money at any cost and that they did not value the quality of the participants experience.

Oh, I was going to write a post that said exactly what you have! The end was awful. I was trying to have a conversation with someone at the seating outside of the B8 room, but I had a headache and the clanging and clanking of stands being dismantled really meant I couldn't cope, so we retreated to the speaker lounge. Even in there, all I could really hear were the sounds of things being taken down.

And this was *during* the last session. It really was awful - if nothing else it was rude and showed a disrespect for the final speakers, but it also left a very bad taste in my mouth. Really, was there any need for the stands to be dismantled at 4pm? The conference finished pretty early - at about 4.30pm or 5pm - and there was a party on at 10pm that night, so I can't see why there couldn't have been a closing drinks session until 7pm. OK, some people would have had to leave a bit early, but make sure there's something worth staying for on the schedule and most people will.

I've been to a lot of conferences, but I've never been to one where the expo was dismantled and gone before the talks were even over.

I think SHiFT did this in a great way. Tara Hunt was clearly one of the most expected talkers, and she was the last one. In the last day, the sessions ended earlier to have room for some glasses of wine from the sponsor. And there was that unforgettable pizza party afterwards.

J'ai personnellement de la difficulté à y voir une valeur ajoutée. Un autre produit à la recherche d'un marché, comme tant d'autres que l'on pourrait verser dans la colonne Web 2.0? Peut-être! D'autant plus que la plupart des personnes qui nous suivent sur Twitter ne nous connaissent relativement peu, sinon pas du tout.

I student taught at the school in the fall of 1983. I spent the morning teaching fifth grade with Mr. Yeates and the afternoon with I believe the first and second grade students in the main building. I have such great memories. The students were so nice and respectful. I too remember Mr. Curtis and his wife, Mr. Booth, and others.

You had to take your shoes off?
They don't make you do that at Belgrade Airport.
You pass through first security, than passport control, security two (sterile area :P). That is that.
Before you enter the plane, usually two employees look at your passport to see if you have the visa (if it's needed), and check your boarding pass.

Rien à voir, mais depuis quelques heures (jours?), ton flux RSS me parait dans les choux : si je vais sur http://feeds.feedburner.com... j'arrive sur un truc de wordpress de type page web de 1994 pour s'inscrire à leur service.
